Film and Television Development Intern

Three times annually, Circle of Confusion hosts an industry-leading internship program. Our mission is to provide a program which fosters diversity and inclusion in our industry. We invite driven, organized and ambitious college students seeking careers in the entertainment industry to apply for a virtual internship through our Los Angeles office. Internships are two or three days a week per term: Winter/Spring (January-May), Summer (May-August/September) & Fall (September-December).

Interns will get an overview of industry practices in developing, producing and casting films, television and theater. More specifically, as an intern you will have a hands-on experience that includes reading scripts, writing coverage, conducting research, answering phones, observing assistants, taking on general office tasks and assisting with special projects which can include drafting social media content and creating web pages. Interns will have the opportunity to shadow assistants, have one-on-one meetings with managers and producers, ask questions and ultimately learn what it means to be on the business side of entertainment.

The Circle of Confusion internship is an unpaid, college credit-based, highly structured educational opportunity with a strong focus on career development. As an intern, it is mandatory to receive college credit for the internship.

Our program is open to all college students, regardless of age, sex, ethnicity, disability, race, color, national origin, sexual orientation or gender identity.
