Clinical Coordinator and Mental Health Therapist

​Role and Responsibilities 

The Women’s Initiative seeks a Clinical Coordinator to provide compassionate, trauma-informed clinical care, including individual and group psychotherapy, and to assist the Clinical Services Director in leading the mental health counseling program. The Clinical Coordinator supports the development, review, revision, and implementation of educational materials and clinical policies and procedures, as well as trains and supervises clinical staff. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

  • Fully-licensed Clinician (LPC, LCSW) with at least 5-years of post-graduate experience 
  • Experience offering individual and group psychotherapy 
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care approach  
  • Exceptional communication, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills 
  • Team oriented with a strength-based approach to services 

Preferred Skills 
  • Clinical supervisory experience  
  • Clinical coordination and/or administrative managerial skills and experience 
  • Knowledgeable in telehealth platforms use and best practices 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • Experience in electronic medical records software 
  • Bilingual, Spanish/English
