Digital Newsroom Editor-Wordpress
Latina Republic operates a Wordpress Digital Newsroom with the aim to publish stories about Latin America and immigrants in the U.S. Our writers highlight local voices and experiences with a unique focus on solutions journalism. In your role, you will review articles for grammar, spelling, add images, videos and links and publish articles written by our reporters. Ideal candidates have strong writing, editing and reporting skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment that delivers high-impact content on a regular basis. Successful candidates work well under deadlines, are strong writers and are comfortable using Wordpress.
Preferred Experiences
- Work experience as a writer/blogger or reporter
- Portfolio of published articles
- Computer proficiency (Google Drive, Wordpress, web search.)
- Working on degree in journalism, communications, marketing or relevant field
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
