Summer Camp CIT Director
We are looking for a CIT Program Director to run our Counselor in Training Program. Wazi is a traditional, non-denominational, co-ed camp in a beautiful setting on a private lake in Southern Maine. Camp Waziyatah has a rich 100 year history and is world famous as the original setting for the Disney Channel TV Show "Bug Juice". The CIT program is for 16 year olds who will enter 11th grade after camp. Wazi's CIT program teaches leadership and lifeguarding, and is a transitional period between being a camper and entering our staff as a counselor. This is the first step in helping to develop and train the finest staff anywhere.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing a leadership program
- Guiding them with the planning of Color War and Parker Cup
- Monitor and feedback performance
- Be a mentor for the JC's
- Provide feedback for JC's
- Living in cabin with the CIT's
