Children's Support Services Coordinator #4255

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides program leadership and staff supervision; coordinates program activities and distribution of duties; oversees compliance with regulations; provides direct services to individuals; compiles program reports; monitors program effectiveness in terms of service provision and fiscal accountability; participates as a Children’s Support Services Team member; maintains medical record documentation; serves as backup to Children’s Support Services staff, provides education, support and consultations to families, caregivers, other agencies and the community regarding the behavioral health needs of children.

 
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Requirements 
M1:  Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia required.  Successful completion of the graduate level coursework required from the licensing board to begin licensure supervision/residency must be documented on the graduate degree transcript and provided upon request.
M2:  Two years’ experience in a mental health or substance abuse service position.
M3:  Valid drivers’ license and safe driving record.
M4:  Supervisory experience.
M5:  Must be approved and registered with the appropriate board for licensure supervision as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP within six months of hire.
M6: Must obtain professional licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP in Virginia within six months of completing supervision/residency.
M7:  Must have, or be eligible to obtain, certification as a pre-screener for emergency hospitalization in Virginia within six months of hire.

Preferred Requirement
P1:  Virginia licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$45,890 - $70,938
$5000 Sign on Bonus
15% Increase for Licensure
7% Increase for Resident/Supervisee
