Quality Assurance Analyst

Chainbridge is a leader in the federal space providing web-based line-of-business applications, mobile apps, and systems integrations with a variety of tools and technologies. All members of the team will get exposure to all aspects of the solutions built, from the database down to the client-side code and everything in between. The solutions developed will be deployed to demanding cloud-based environments that require scalability, high availability, low-latency, discoverability, and accessibility.
In an agile environment as collaborative as ours, team members will need excellent written and oral communication skills and will be expected to communicate directly with customers on a regular basis. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities and Daily Duties:
  • Create testing plans 
  • Participate in design/requirements meetings
  • End to end testing
  • Creation of test data and scripts
  • Interface testing
  • BI/report output validation
  • Create and track bug reports using Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio tooling
  • Assist development staff with tracking down reproducible cases to correct bugs
  • Assist or lead deployments to test and production environments
  • Assisting team leads with sprint management and scheduling for regular deployments
  • Documentation of application functionality

Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Technical aptitude
  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Self-motivated/initiative
  • Some professional experience, ie: internship, office work, or other experience in a professional environment

Additional Skills (not required)
  • Certified SCRUM master
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience testing web applications
  • Microsoft Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio Testing Edition
  • SQL Server knowledge
