Business Analyst

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Business Analyst-Client Relations assists the client relations team in managing the daily operations and services of an assigned team of clients. The analyst provides consistent high quality data analysis, troubleshooting, research and issue resolution, and leads both client and internal projects. The overall goal of this position is to provide support to the client relations team to ensure clients receive timely, relevant responses, quality data and reporting, and resolution to their business problems.

    * For assigned clients, support the company’s business relationship for assigned products, bringing about solid outcomes and a positive client experience

    * Establish and foster ongoing relationship with assigned clients
    * Troubleshoot complex data problems using tools available
    * Tier 2 escalation of data anomalies and client questions
    * Conducting trends analysis with comparative data
    * Developing benchmarks against other client data
    * Develop and execute project plans with the objective of maintaining total client satisfaction
    * Provide improvement recommendations to client(s) through expert interpretation of data contained in Inmar’s reports and processes
    * Ensure timely completion of follow-up on action items, client requests and client visits 

    * Perform detailed research
    * Perform analysis of a complicated nature
    * Make recommendations and provide insights
    * Conduct quality assurance exercises on independent projects, as well as of other unrelated projects
    * Serve as subject matter expert to clients
    * Address projects and issues in an accurate, timely manner
    * Inform manager of issues and trends
    * Manage client processes and offer best practice recommendations, where appropriate

    * Serve as a team resource for day to day operational questions
    * Serve as a liaison with IT
    * Produce ad hoc reporting, as needed            
    * Work closely with account teams to ensure streamlined transitions of new clients from sales to client operations
    * Identify, develop and implement new procedures to increase efficiency and productivity

    * Perform other related duties as assigned

    * Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in business or a related field with four to six years of experience in business analysis or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the job responsibilities

    * Supply Chain industry experience preferred

    * Advanced technical skills with the ability to communicate technical requirements, and compose a business process flow using applications such as MS Visio, SmartDraw, or other graphics/diagramming application
    * Proven ability to compose complex professional business correspondence, reports and analyses
    * Troubleshoot complex data problems across multiple platforms
    * Ability to design and implement new clients from the Client Services perspective
    * Ability to train other associates on business processes
    * Ability to multi task and manage multiple projects and business problems simultaneously
    * Work effectively in a team environment
    * Microsoft Office suite of software products (Excel, Access, Word), SQL Server management studio
    * Solid documentation skills
    * Self starter with initiative and sense of urgency
