Supply Chain Associate Grand Canyon National Park

JOB SUMMARY: Assists in the procurement, receiving, requisitioning, physical inventory, as well as vendor and administrative functions associated with the flow of goods and services to multiple hospitality (hotels, food & Beverage) outlets located in the Grand Canyon South Rim. The position interfaces with the property and corporate supply chain teams, on-site management and other property stakeholders to help ensure that “right” product, place, time, quantity, quality and cost objectives are met in an effort to exceed guest & stakeholder expectations at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Purchasing Processes – RFQ, Purchase Orders, Order Tracking, Vendor Returns, Vendor Engagement
  • Receiving Processes – Physical Receipt, Discrepancy Escalation, Product Handling
  • Warehouse/Inventory Operations – Cycle Counting, Product Handling, On-Site Logistics
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Communication, Planning, Solicitation of Feedback

Qualifications

  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written), strong analytical interests
  • Possess or are currently seeking degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing or equivalent field. Commensurate experience may substitute for some or all of the educational requirements.
  • Comfortable working in multiple settings including office and warehouse settings
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with managers, staff, vendors, suppliers and National Park Service Concessions personnel.
  • Experience with ERP systems (or willingness to learn), Word and Excel software experienced.
