Supply Chain Planning Intern

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory planning: based on the sell in forecast and incoming plan, work out the inventory simulation plan, figure out the potential risk, alert the risk and work with the sales and business planning team to fix the risk. Update the analysis report to HQ weekly and monthly.
  • Abnormal inventory management: monitor the abnormal inventory monthly, weekly and even daily, work with the sales, business planning and logistic team to ensure there will be no abnormal inventory
  • Channel inventory analysis: analyze the channel inventory based on the sell thru, from both turnover and absolute number standpoint to manage the channel inventory to ensure the inventory will be healthy. Update the weekly analysis report to HQ. 
  • Production management: work out the production priority list based on the incoming plan and demand change, work with the Mexico Factory to ensure the production plan can support the incoming plan, monitor the execution of the production plan and set up the KPI to manage the on-time production. 
  • Shipping plan management: work out the products shipping plan based on the production plan, work with Mexico Factory and logistic team to move the products from the factory to US warehouse on time. 
  • Customer order fulfillment: based on the inventory availability, production schedule and incoming schedule, work with order management team, logistic team to ensure the customer PO can be fulfilled without any delay or shortage.
