Research Tech/Associate (Immunology)

Recruiting for Research Technicians / Associates / Postdoctoral Levels Department of Pathology.
The University of Massachusetts Medical School and the Department of Pathology located in Worcester, Massachusetts invite applications for Research positions at the Research Technician, Research Associate and Postdoctoral levels. Rank will be commensurate with ability and experience. The position(s) are highly competitive with an excellent benefit package. We are seeking individuals with a BS in a Biological/Life Science.

The ideal candidate would have a background in Immunology, Virology, and/ or Biochemistry; experience working in an immunology-focused lab. These positions may be an excellent opportunity for those applicants who have an overall interest in medical sciences and interested in attending a graduate/medical school. Specific research areas currently include, but are not limited to, immunobiology of receptors; signal transduction and gene regulation; innate immunity, immunity to pathogens; mucosal immunology; tolerance and autoimmunity; and tumor immunobiology using cellular, biophysical and computational approaches, and characterization of human NK cells responses to HIV-infected macrophages.
