Undergraduate Policy and Program Development Summer Intern

Reporting to the Executive Director, Office of Citywide Equity and Inclusion, the selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks: 
  • Supporting the Policy and Program Development team in the collection, tracking and digital filing of various reports including Agency Annual D1vers1ty and EEO plans and Quarterly Reports.
• Performing preliminary review of plans and reports
• Conducting outreach to internal and external partners on matters related to Citywide equity and inclusion initiatives
• Assisting with the review, development, and assembly of training materials and PowerPoint presentations
• Assisting with the review and research of new legal mandates required to be operationalized by the Office
• Preparing and analyzing feedback surveys for Best Practices Meetings with agency EEO Officers to identify areas of improvements
• Reviewing and analyzing attendance records for Best Practices Meetings, indexing and identifying topics for upcoming meetings and conducting outreach to non-active agencies
• Reviewing professional literature as assigned
• Providing administrative support to the Policy and Program Development Unit 
• Performing other ad-hoc projects as assigned
