Financial Analyst

Roanoke, VA 

Retirement Unlimited, Inc is looking for a financial analyst to support it's growing senior living company. 
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial reports including profit & loss (P&L), balance sheet and cash flow statements for assisted living communities and management company
  • Track financial and non-financial KPIs developing reports and analyzing results
  • Assist with budgeting process including developing templates and performing analytical reviews
  • Analyze P&L trends and variances to help identify revenue opportunities and control expenses
  • Assist with payroll accounting, reporting and analysis
  • Manage employee expense process including accounting, reporting, compliance, and admin of Concur software used for employee expense report submissions
  • Play a critical role in financial system implementation projects including planned roll-out of new ERP software
  • Perform ad hoc analytical requests from RUI leadership team
  • Help to identify and improve financial reports and processes towards automation and digitization
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance preferred
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in finance or accounting role preferred
Skills and Attributes
  • Analytical skills, including ability to pull insights out of large amounts of data
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when preparing reports
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Computer skills to effectively use software to analyze financial information, identify trends, and make forecasts
  • Ability to work independently to solve complex problems
