The primary responsibility of the Field Merchandising Representative is to make store calls in your defined areas and build positive relationships with the meat department personnel. To be the face of and Brand Ambassador of Farmer Focus to the individual stores in your designated market area (DMA). Complete and submit store call reports that define the scope of business within the store on both Farmer Focus and competitive products. Work with the Meat Manager to identify SKU placement opportunities, case sets, resolve Out of Stocks (OOS), Point of Sale (POS) placement and potentially secure new products in the store’s order book.

To be successful in this role one must; work effectively within the SVO Servant Leadership System and work to cultivate the SVO Culture and help to Promote and Protect generational family farms. Must also have or demonstrate; four-year college degree required, preferable in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications; a minimum of 2 years, fresh perishable, natural products, preferably in poultry, with prior merchandising experience; must have the ability to develop and execute merchandising plans; have reliable personal transportation, the ability to travel long distances, and a valid State driver’s license.
