Salary Information:

  •  $80,000-$85,000/YR
  • Performance Bonuses

The Job:
 
Our UI/UX Designer will wear multiple hats as they help build enterprise software applications tailored for transportation agencies. You will use your savvy sense of modern UI design, UX best practices, graphic design, and attention to detail to develop map-based applications for data management, reporting, and visualization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design modern interfaces and layouts that utilize maps, charts, dashboards, and graphs
  • Conduct ongoing enterprise user/organization research including stakeholder interviews, task analysis, usability studies, and other related research techniques
  • Create journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes 
  • Analyze UX problems and produce effective design solutions to meet business requirements
  • Operate effectively with a small development group using lean startup methodologies to support emerging software development goals 

Quals:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in UX/digital design, user interface design, human-computer interaction (HCI) or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of designing user-centered enterprise software, with a focus on UI/UX Design
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and design tools like Sketch, Axure, Invision, Figma
  • Experience with user research, prototyping, HTML, CSS, JS
  • Knowledge of software development processes including estimation, feature design, development, and maintenance
  • Geospatial visualization background preferred, but not required
