Clinical Coordinator

The Children’s Guild is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to oversee the daily activities of a therapeutic group home to ensure the delivery of clinical and case management services to students and their families.
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- Minimum of three (3) years’ clinical work experience and a LCSW-C or LMSW issued by the State of Maryland
- Appropriateness of therapeutic group home placement (when needed) is determined during pre-hire interviews
- Advanced knowledge of individual, family and group behavior and sound case management practices
- Knowledge of medical and psychiatric terminology and concepts
- Therapy skills and clinical judgment that are consistent with the program’s philosophy
- Thorough knowledge of and compliance with state regulations
- Knowledge of the function and organization of community health and welfare programs and referral resources at local and state levels
- Clinical assessment skills and skill in developing individualized growth plans
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility in work schedule to fit program needs
- Ability to work overnight as needed (to stay awake)-is a MUST and is REQUIRED.
