2021 Fall Government Effectiveness Programs Intern (Remote)

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
You may only submit one internship application per term. Applicants submitting more than one application per term will not be considered.
If you have a strong interest in multiple teams, you may indicate your alternate team preferences later in the application. Please note that selecting multiple teams does not increase your likelihood of being selected for an internship.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Government Effectiveness Programs interns have the unique opportunity to develop management and leadership skills by helping our Innovation, Partnership West, and Federal Executive Networks teams deliver a variety of programs and events for federal employees. Our programs and events aim to connect leaders working on similar issues across government, engage federal employees outside the beltway on the West Coast, and encourage new and innovative ways of doing things to make government more effective. Examples of the programming this team is involved in include our Assistant Secretaries for Administration and Management (ASAMs) roundtable, our Public Service Leadership Circle training program for federal employees in California, or our Federal Innovation Council, all geared toward federal employees across government agencies.
During their internship, interns will learn more about project management, relationship management, information gathering and analysis, database maintenance, virtual event planning and logistics, and customer service. At the end of their term, interns will walk away with a greater understanding of how employees across the federal government can work innovatively and together to make government more effective.
