Internship Health Administration

Moon River Senior Care, a licensed home care agency recognized for its high standards, is now interviewing for a paid internship in Health Administration and patient care. The position can range from 20-40 hours per week, depending on the skills and interests of the intern. The base position includes the following:

-Join our scheduling team as a Patient Care Coordinator and assign aides and companions to provide home care to older adults.

-Serve as an after-hours supervisor on Saturday and/or Sunday, developing your leadership and communication skills.

-Learn about Risk Management, Human Resources, Quality Control

-Analyze Performance evaluations to improve service delivery and employee retention

-Talk to prospective students iwho are nterested in enrolling in the Nurse Aide training at our affiliate Moon River Nursing Careers.

-Serve as a companion or aide (training provided) to provide one-on-one care to our clients in the home setting or to serve as an advocate at a medical appointment.

Our licensed home health agency is growing and also operates a nurse aide training school.

We develop internships that draw on the talents and passion of the individual intern and support our mission. Thus, the paid internship can range from 20-40 hours per week, depending on the intern's availability and interest in working additional hours with patients.

This internship is ideal for a recent graduate in Health Administration, a Pre-Med. student in the gap year before medical school or a Business major. Yet, we will consider recent graduates with other majors who have genuine interest in helping older adults enjoy the best possible quality of life.
