Radio/Streaming Product Development Intern

iNSPiRED Lifestyle Arts & Entertainment Alliance (iLAEA) www.iLAEA.com Position: Internship Location: US, Atlanta, GA, Abroad, & Virtual Type: Part-time Paid & Non-Paid Overview: iLAEA is a global music, media, arts, and entertainment professional association that primarily supports independent urban artists and professionals while focusing on expanding the market reach and potential of the emerging urban gospel/inspirational entertainment. Responsibilities: Duties will vary depending on department, division, or partner. Interns may be responsible for developing strategy, marketing, branding, digital media plans; special projects; social media integration; database/website maintenance; creating, editing, and distributing content; creating, editing, updating graphic imaging; sending out promotional messages/mailings; conducting online and physical research projects; answering phones, writing reports, proofreading, and general administrative functions, such as filing, faxing, copying and distribution. Candidates should display strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as demonstrate ingenuity and an eagerness to learn. Candidates must also possess excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop, etc. preferred) and strong organizational skills. An interest in the media, music, and entertainment business or professional association management is strongly preferred. Students will be asked to intern at least fifteen hours a week but we will try our best to work around student’s schedules. Students must provide a letter from their college or university confirming that they will receive school credit. Most of our internships are for credit only.Radio/Streaming Product Development Intern Job Description The product development department is seeking students with strong skills and interest in radio and streaming servicing for internships. Ideal candidates are those studying Business Administration, Retail Management, Business Intelligence, E-Commerce, Digital Business, Computer Science, or other related fields with the following qualifications:  Contribute to product (music/content) development, and strategies for placement on radio and streaming platforms.  Help drive superior product standards, design and processes to explore product solutions to gaining more exposure, new fans, listeners, & supporters.  Work closely with a cross-functional team of e.g. creatives, influencers, designers, researchers and service providers, and contribute to setting the direction for the product or a space  Help define goals and metrics for artists and the team that measures progress and improves over time  Identify partnering opportunities/solutions internally and externally that facilitates collaboration aligned with the company’s short- and long-term goals  Make sure that the team is constantly doing the right things, and has a healthy balance of innovation while reducing technical issues with support Position Type: Part-time/16-hours per week To Apply: Please send resume, cover letter, including any portfolio, web, or video samples, to internship@iLAEA.com making sure to indicate in subject line which internship you are applying for.
