Social Media Management/Marketing Intern

iNSPiRED Lifestyle Arts & Entertainment Alliance (iLAEA) www.iLAEA.com Position: Internship Location: US, Atlanta, GA, Abroad, & Virtual Type: Part-time Paid & Non-Paid Overview: iLAEA is a global music, media, arts, and entertainment professional association that primarily supports independent urban artists and professionals while focusing on expanding the market reach and potential of the emerging urban gospel/inspirational entertainment. Responsibilities: Duties will vary depending on department, division, or partner. Interns may be responsible for developing strategy, marketing, branding, digital media plans; special projects; social media integration; database/website maintenance; creating, editing, and distributing content; creating, editing, updating graphic imaging; sending out promotional messages/mailings; conducting online and physical research projects; answering phones, writing reports, proofreading, and general administrative functions, such as filing, faxing, copying and distribution. Candidates should display strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as demonstrate ingenuity and an eagerness to learn. Candidates must also possess excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop, etc. preferred) and strong organizational skills. An interest in the media, music, and entertainment business or professional association management is strongly preferred. Students will be asked to intern at least fifteen hours a week but we will try our best to work around student’s schedules. Students must provide a letter from their college or university confirming that they will receive school credit. Most of our internships are for credit only.Social Media Management/Marketing Intern Job Description The social media/marketing department is seeking students with strong skills and interest revolving around creating, posting, organizing and running marketing campaigns over social media platforms (such as: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Snapchat). Typical responsibilities include: Developing content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media, innovative engagement ideation, keeping up with latest promotional trends/Marketing tactics. Directing traffic to all social outlets , or other related fields with the following qualifications:  Artist research and content creation (agency & client) for social sites including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and Instagram, etc.  Scheduling content (agency & client) including social media posts, eBlasts, and blog posts, etc.  Monitoring and reporting social sites including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google My Business, YouTube and Instagram  May also include developing and executing fan engagement strategies, such as contests, meet & greets, pop-ups, & appearances/signings  Data collection and analysis on client digital presences  Assist in client campaign coordination and reporting  Building spreadsheets inclusive of historical marketing trends, data collection and digital analysis  Data interpretation to assist in digital media recommendations  Building templates to assist in benchmarking digital trends and more Position Type: Part-time/16-hours per week To Apply: Please send resume, cover letter, including any portfolio, web, or video samples, to internship@iLAEA.com making sure to indicate in subject line which internship you are applying for.
