Specification Analyst

Specifications Analyst – Competitive Salary + Benefits – Sidney, NY
The Role
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Specifications Analyst to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY. The successful candidate will report to the Technical Support Supervisor.
The key responsibilities of this Specifications Analyst include, but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing on technical documents and issues
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing on technical documents and issues
  • Review customer drawing revisions for compliance with AAO documents and update systems
  • Review customer Terms and Conditions as well as quality documents involving other departments as needed to update systems
  • Review customer packaging requirements and assign or create SP’s to comply
  • Support Quality by assisting in distributor and affiliate audits
  • Support the organization when new distributors are added by coordinating tooling required, etc
  • Correspond with customers verbally and in writing
  • Provide technical field sales support
  • Action assigned service requests and system stamping issues
  • Provides basic technical training to Marketing/Sales personnel.
  • Process assigned quotes and orders 
  • Assists Supervisor as necessary with various product support functions

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Specifications Analyst at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 2-3 years experience, or equivalent accumulation of education and experience.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Travel may be required.
