Specifications Analyst – Competitive Salary + Benefits – Sidney, NY
The Role
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Specifications Analyst to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY. The successful candidate will report to the Technical Support Supervisor.
The key responsibilities of this Specifications Analyst include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing on technical documents and issues
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing on technical documents and issues
- Review customer drawing revisions for compliance with AAO documents and update systems
- Review customer Terms and Conditions as well as quality documents involving other departments as needed to update systems
- Review customer packaging requirements and assign or create SP’s to comply
- Support Quality by assisting in distributor and affiliate audits
- Support the organization when new distributors are added by coordinating tooling required, etc
- Correspond with customers verbally and in writing
- Provide technical field sales support
- Action assigned service requests and system stamping issues
- Provides basic technical training to Marketing/Sales personnel.
- Process assigned quotes and orders
- Assists Supervisor as necessary with various product support functions

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Specifications Analyst at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 2-3 years experience, or equivalent accumulation of education and experience.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Travel may be required.
