Outpatient Services Lead Clinician #4324

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides for overall management and supervision of identified Outpatient staff. Develop, implement, and maintain clinically appropriate services designed to meet the specific needs of adults with mental illness, substance use, and/or co-occurring disorders. Conducts clinical assessments, clinical supervision, and completes required documentation. Provides staff training, supervision, and performance evaluations. Monitors and reviews assigned staff work for quality assurance. Ensures assigned staff meets productivity, budget, accreditations, and licensure requirements. Develops and maintains working relationships with individuals served, other DPCS programs, and other agencies involved in providing services. Provides direct services to individuals served.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
M1: Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia required. Successful completion of the graduate level coursework required from the licensing board to begin licensure supervision/residency must be documented on the graduate degree transcript and provided upon request
M2: Must be approved and registered with the appropriate board for licensure supervision as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP within six months of hire
M3: Must obtain professional licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP in Virginia within six months of completing supervision/residency
M4: Two years’ experience working with adults providing behavioral health and/or developmental disability services
M5: Must have, or be eligible to obtain, certification as a pre-screener for emergency hospitalization in Virginia within six months of hire
M6: Experience with crisis intervention
M7: Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Preferred Requirements
P1: Virginia licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP
P2: Supervisory experience

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$40,626 - $63,989 E
Excellent Fringe Benefits
$5,000 Sign on Bonus
15% Increase for Licensure
7% Increase for Resident/Supervisee
