Campus Recruiter/HR Assistant

We are looking for a Campus Recruiter/HR Assistant to act as our liaison with universities and recruit students and recent graduates. Primary responsibilities include building/maintaining effective recruiting relationships with Atlanta area accounting programs, identifying and evaluating candidates, attending and hosting recruiting events, building effective internship programs, onboarding new hires, and ensuring a positive new hire experience. The ideal candidate will have some campus recruiting or HR coordinating experience and will have had experience with various sourcing tactics, like social media recruiting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship-building skills and will be an analytical thinker, technologically savvy, excellent communicator, highly efficient, and someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic professional environment. This position reports to the Human Capital Senior Manager.
 
Additional HR responsibilities include local communications, personnel file maintenance, metrics and reporting, event planning, philanthropic/team building initiatives, employee appreciation initiatives, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and assisting with staff training and development.

Position Responsibilities
  • Attend college career fairs, interact with students, and promote employer brand
  • Attend “Meet the Firm,” Beta Alpha Psi, and other campus events
  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews for junior positions and internships
  • Advertise current open roles to online and offline alumni communities
  • Contact university career counselors and provide informative materials about our internship programs
  • Post job ads and source potential candidates on social media
  • Liaise with HR Sr. Manager and Team Leaders to define hiring needs and design internship programs
  • Build and maintain good relationships with universities and other educational institutions
  • Assisting with pre-boarding and on-boarding new hires
  • Event coordination responsibilities may include reserving external facilities or hotel conference rooms, managing food/catering lunches, and set up and break down, as needed
  • Plan, organize, and execute employee welfare events 
  • Personnel file maintenance and other scanning, copying and filing
  • Creating and managing employee surveys
  • Assisting with various training & development initiatives including tracking various trainings and career advising sessions, planning and organizing Summer Leadership Academy, and printing and assembling training materials
  • Support the Human Capital Senior Manager with general HR and operational administrate tasks
  • Reporting and metrics using Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)

Required Skills
  • 1-3 years of related campus recruiting or HR experience, preferably within public accounting or a professional services environment
  • Experience in advertising and hiring for entry-level roles is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is desired
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes and procedures is desired
  • Excellent networking abilities
  • Must be an analytical thinker, highly organized, and possess excellent communication/interpersonal skills, as well as, have ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with a high level of discretion
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Human Resources or relevant field
