Remote Law Firm Document Clerk - June 2nd Start

Trustpoint.One is hiring Document Clerks for our law firm client in Richmond, Virginia for an upcoming 3 month contract job opportunity starting on June 2nd. The firm has let us know that there will be conversion eligibility to permanent hire status for top performers after the 3 month contract period has ended. The daily work and initial job training will be conducted remotely. Note that no prior law firm experience is required for consideration. The firm requires a completed Bachelor’s degree for employment consideration.
The start date of this job opportunity will be Wednesday, June 2nd  and the hourly pay rate will be $17.50 per hour. Approved candidates will need to be able to go to the firm's office on either Friday, May 28th, or Tuesday, June 1st to pick up the computer that they will be using to work remotely from home. The daily work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm.
 
The firm will train new hires remotely via web training sessions and the work will be conducted on a remote basis. That being said, approved candidates will need to have a password protected Wi-Fi at their home and a dedicated and private workspace. This work cannot be conducted on a public network or in any public place.
  

The job responsibilities and skills required may include the following:

The Document Clerk is responsible for complex review of settlement agreement applications and other related documents in order to evaluate and assign values to legal claims while maintaining the integrity of data with tasks including data entry and related duties to ensure excellent client service.

Other duties and responsibilities may include:

• Review legal documents and apply completeness criteria to determine completeness of required documentation.
• Perform regular quality control of client databases through secondary review of legal documents.
• Data entry of information in order to generate correspondence and reports.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned by firm management.
