Compensation Analyst (Early Career)

What you'll do
 
As an early in career Compensation Analyst, you will be involved in the development and execution of new and revised Compensation programs and initiatives, ensuring that they are consistent with the SAS total rewards strategy and are aligned with overall business goals and objectives. This position is part of the Global Compensation team which sits in Cary, NC. Some of the responsibilities of this job will include: participating in compensation surveys; analyzing compensation data to determine competitive remuneration packages for our employees around the globe; updating job, structure and employee data in our HRIS system; calculating variable pay; and supporting our salary increase, promotion and bonus review processes.
 
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business or a related field of study 
  • Typically requires 2 years of professional compensation experience
  • Familiar with HRIS or enterprise resources planning (ERP) software (i.e., Workday, Oracle) 
  • Experience with advanced use of Microsoft Excel to analyze and manipulate data (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) 
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills 
  • Location: Cary, NC SAS HQ, but open to remote for the right candidate.

  • Experience with global compensation practices and trends
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation and/or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP)
