Registered Nurse
Eliada Homes for Children is seeking a full Time Registered Nurse who wants to make a difference in the lives of young people through a unique nursing opportunity in a beautiful setting in West Asheville. Guided by excellence, integrity, teamwork and compassion, our nursing staff works closely with our residential cottages to ensure a healthy, therapeutic environment that promotes learning and growth for the students in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities. DUTIES
Nursing staff responsibilities include: administering medication, phlebotomy, assessment, and support of the safe implementation of all crisis intervention procedures. This position also includes clerical and organizational responsibilities such as filing, med-cart change out, order transcription, inventorying and restocking supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- This position requires a valid NC RN licensure.
- Seeking individuals who can be strong role models of emotional and physical health for our students.
- Prior experience working with paper MAR's, capacity for self-direction and desire to work independently would be helpful.
- Must have experience and /or strong desire to work with children and adolescents.
