Internship - Facilities - Fall 2021

A facilities intern would support the facilities engineers in the upkeep of the mechanical operations of a 180,000 sq.ft. building. An intern would learn to read the systems and record the data in daily logs, identify problems and assist with the solution, learn safety procedures, and learn the building management system. The intern would also experience digital/mechanical programming and IT interfaces. The ultimate goal is to gain hands-on experience directly from an engineer and learn creative solutions to complex problems.

Students at a junior or senior level and obtaining a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering are preferred. The intern will need to be available three days a week between Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. There is potential for some flexibility. An ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment, and creative problem solving skills.
