Join our team and assist with marketing and fundraising campaigns for causes such as helping lift children around the world out of poverty, finding and funding a cure for breast cancer,or rescuing animals from abuse.

The Copy Assistant Internship would provide a college student great insight into Direct Response Creative, including the creative process and the flow of a job. A qualified candidate would have strong grammar and writing skills with a passion for working with non-profits.

Responsibilities and Expectations: 

·       Set up copy decks for writers, utilizing templates and previous year’s copy, if applicable. 
·       Make edits to copy, as needed, which includes but is not limited to:
o   Creating letter versions and/or variables for job as laid out in strategy, with changes per audience/segments
o   Working closely with others who have QC responsibility (associate creative directors, production artists and print buyers)
o   Matching printed layouts and mockups to ensure mail kits and versioning match strategy and reflect copy decks
o   Reviewing copy against routing art to ensure copy and art match
·       Edit copy decks to ensure: 
o   Readability and logical flow
o   Transitions between paragraphs
o   Adherence to strategy 
o   Accuracy of variable copy and codes
·       Provide feedback on client edits/preference to proofreader to keep client style guide updated

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

·      Excellent planning and organizational skills. 
·      Good initiative, responsibility, and ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

·      Bachelor’s degree (in process) - most likely a junior or senior.
·      Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
