Business Team Engagement Summer Intern

The B2B group at Foreign Policy is fast-growing with new clients added consistently month over month. For that reason, we are looking for a data-driven and outgoing individual who can help gather greater insights into these new readers. This project will have data components but will also require some client interaction so we will need someone comfortable with being client-facing. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to learn more about the journalism world and how subscription businesses are built out.

Responsibilities include
  • Audit IP-Access clients and add appropriate data to determine health of account
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and end-users to increase readership and understand reading habits
  • Work within Salesforce to organize different types of access and build better tracking reports
  • Improve IP-Access tracking sheet and pull relevant data from Google Analytics
  • Work with Marketing to run engagement campaigns to increase readership amongst group clients
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Google Analytics helpful but not required
  • Experience with organizing data and building clean Excel spreadsheets
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn and interact with readers
  • Effective written and verbal communicator
  • Interest in foreign policy, history, journalism or political science
  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's program
  • Eligible to work in the United States

This position is expected to start in June with a preferred availability of 40 hours per week. Applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
