We’re looking for intelligent and motivated individuals who will be responsible for developing unique investment ideas based on exceptional policy analysis.

Duties of the Policy Research & Investment Intern:
·      Research changes in policy and evaluate importance of events
·      Compile policy changes and assess changes for market volatility and cause and effect relationships
·      Analyze client portfolios and assess risk / reward opportunities
·      Identify investments that have relationships with new and existing policy and assess future projections to make informed decisions on the behalf of clients
·      Meet / speak with clients to identify key changes and areas for improvement
·      Consult with clients on upcoming changes and take detailed notes on assessments
·      Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Policy Research & Investment Intern:
·      Four-year Bachelor’s degree or current senior or grad student
·      Familiarity with consulting, banking, policy analysis, or a related field
·      High academic achievement, GPA, 3.2 and above
·      Exceptional MS Excel skills
·      Experience in Bloomberg, R, or Python nice to have but not required
·      Able to express differentiated opinions clearly and forcefully, supported by robust analysis
·      Client servicing and interpersonal skills
·      Excellent writing skills
·      Able to develop and discern high-quality, value-oriented investment ideas
·      Passion for combining policy and politics with investment and financial analysis
