Creative Design Assistant - Global Classrooms DC

UNA-NCA Creative Design Assistant

Position Summary:
The Creative Design Assistant is responsible for providing support for the Global Classrooms DC through the design of digital content. The Creative Design Assistant will lead the creation of promotional materials related to UNA-NCA's flagship global education program, Global Classrooms DC, including promotional graphics and key content related to the program such as Model UN conference footage. Global Classrooms DC is seeking a passionate, innovative, creative thinker with strong design aesthetics and digital skills to engage and expand our program outreach. The Creative Design Assistant will also have the opportunity to attend UNA-NCA events, network with key leadership, and propose strategic and innovative design projects.

Primary duties include:
-Work directly with the Senior Global Education Manager to design videos and graphics highlighting key aspects of the program.
-Create flyers and digital banners to promote GCDC programs.
-Collaborate with GCDC staff as needed in creation of digital and print graphic design including digital assets for websites, print materials, and more.

Job Requirements:
-Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
-Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames. -Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
-Experience with Canva and/or the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere).
-A passion for global education!
