Practice Promotions is a marketing agency specializing in helping physical therapy private practices market and grow their businesses so they are able to help more people get well and improve their lives with physical therapy. We are located in the Richmond, VA area with our team in and around Richmond, Chesterfield, and Henrico. We are rapidly growing and have experienced 267% growth over the last three years.
We currently have 51 team members and to help us continue our expansion we are now looking for a great and service oriented Copywriter to join our Copywriting team.
Are you a stable, hard working, highly productive and an unusually service minded individual who has already delivered above average results within the area of copywriting? If so, we are looking for you to possibly join our team of online “marketing rockstars'' who are really helping physical therapy businesses across the United States and Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Interns will be working on our print team as well as our digital marketing and website teams, creating marketing copy that gets results.
- Working alongside our in-house copywriter with the opportunity to learn from experienced experts in the field.
- Collaborating with teammates to meet the needs of clients.
- Completing copywriting training.
- Brainstorming creative ideas to help produce unique, high-quality copy for clients.
- Researching scientific studies, case studies, and other credible resources to find content and statistics for copy.
- Writing custom copy and rewriting stock copy, in order to avoid duplication and provide the best possible content for clients.
- Learning about SEO and how to place keywords into copy.
- Providing corrections for copy as needed, based on feedback from clients.
- Analyzing the result of our work and making adjustments.
- Content creation, personal interest stories, blurbs, inserts, etc.
- Creating social posts
- Proofreading/making corrections
- Brainstorming creative headlines for copy
- Working from your remote location with close communication and mentoring via video conferencing, screen sharing, internet based project management software, email, and more.
- Attending internal meetings, and much more.
Skills required:
- Must be enthusiastic about helping others.
- Must have a passion for business marketing and helping businesses grow.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be proficient in all aspects of the written word, including grammar, syntax, sentence structure, and creativity.
- Must have a passion for writing and content creation.
- Must be able to work diligently on your own without distractions, as well as collaborating with a team to discuss ideas and project plans.
- Degree-seeking student in the fields of English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Communications, or Marketing preferred.

- Gain more experience in Trello, Social Media, Email Marketing, SEO. I don’t think they do anything with Wordpress please take this out. Don’t want to promise something they won’t get.

Practice Promotions works remotely and has for the entire 10 year history of our company. We are building a team in the Richmond area so we can get together at the drop of a hat for in person collaboration, training, and team building at a local conference center. We are not considering candidates who can not easily drive to the Richmond/Midlothian, VA area for in person meetings once Covid clears. Only apply if you already live in or around great Richmond, VA or are planning to relocate to the area in the near future. This is not a position for someone living in CA, TX, or other wonderful far away places.
