ATV (4-wheelers) Instructors
WHERE
* Camp Cayuga: Private, coed, nonsectarian, sleepaway camp for children ages 6-16.
* Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania. Less than 3 hours from NYC & Philadelphia.
* ACA accredited camp. Same family ownership since 1963.
WHEN
* This summer Mid-June to Mid-August.
ATV INSTRUCTORS
* We are seeking energetic individuals who can provide quality instruction in ATV Quad Riding from beginner to advanced levels.
* Responsible for planning, directing, instructing, and supervising the ATV Quad Riding program.
* Teach the basic fundamental skills and safety rules of ATV Quad Riding to campers of all ages.
* Help coordinate Camp Cayuga’s ATV Quad Riding program by maintaining the standards that lead to a quality program.
* Instruction is geared to the camper's individual skill level, and is patient and thorough with due regard for both safety and enjoyment.
* Responsible for maintaining the camp’s equipment (helmets, safety goggles, etc).
* Responsible for maintaining a neat quad track. This includes the removal of all litter from the ATV track area and returning left behind articles to the camp office.
* Responsible for keeping the ATV track free from hazards and reporting maintenance problems to his/her Activity Supervisor.
* Responsible for keeping records on all campers and grading their progress and accomplishments. The instructor submits Weekly Awards at the end of each week to the Awards Supervisor.
ATV QUAD RIDING PROGRAM
* All campers are eligible to ride ATVs regardless of age.
* Riders must pass a safety control test, which is to be given to each camper during his/her first scheduled quad activity.
* ATVs have automatic transmissions – no changing of gears or use of clutch.
* ATVs are ridden only on the ATV track. Other areas are prohibited.
* Safety is #1 Camp Cayuga.
