Medical Scribe
Calling all candidates who wish to jumpstart their healthcare career. Chartjoy is hiring smart and driven individuals to work as medical scribes throughout the state of South Carolina.
Medical scribes work alongside physicians to transcribe and document every aspect of patient care. Scribes master the fundamentals of medical terminology and anatomy & physiology while gaining hands-on healthcare experience. Scribes will grow to understand the clinical decision-making process to become the “doctor’s second brain”. Many scribes use this experience to strengthen their candidacy for medical and graduate school and to gain a network of physician mentors.
Chartjoy is hiring both new and experienced scribes. Those who are new to scribing will undergo training to prepare for the job while experienced scribes will have the opportunity to serve as leaders. Positions are available across a health system, including the emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Successful applicants must be in good academic standing, have impeccable communication skills, and can perform clerical duties using multiple technology tools while working in sometimes chaotic, fast-paced environments.
