We are searching for Patient Care Techs to work in our brain injury rehab programs. This is a great opportunity for students and recent grads alike. Patient Care Techs provide minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational pursuits. Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities and other outings. Extensive training in brain injury will be provided. Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenging clients.
 
We welcome dedicated and motivated candidates in the areas of psychology, behavior analysis, social work, sociology, human & social services, nursing, pre-med, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, speech pathology, physical therapy and other related disciplines. We offer a wide range of settings where clinical and professional skills can be developed.

A high school diploma is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, insurance and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained. Possesses a minimum of two years related work experience, preferably in a rehabilitation, or long term care setting. Competence in writing, planning, organization and documentation, as well as time management skills are required. The ability to communicate with families, professionals and co-workers is a must. The ability to demonstrate positive client interaction skills is essential.
