Proposal Team Coordinator Intern
At Badger Meter, we're more than a leading global water technology company—we're innovators with a mission to preserve and protect the world's most precious resource. For over 120 years, our solutions have helped communities optimize water use, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
The Badger Meter Internship Program provides students with hands-on, real-world experience through meaningful projects, mentorship, professional development, community outreach, and a final capstone project.
What You Will Contribute
Badger Meter is seeking a Proposal Team Coordinator Intern to join our Proposals Department and support a department-wide initiative to evaluate and improve our current risk management and project tracking process, known as the RFX Checklist.
The goal of this project is to assess our existing tools and processes and help develop a new or enhanced solution that improves how proposal requirements, risks, and project activities are tracked and managed. The redesigned tool or process should, at a minimum, incorporate automated validation requirements and risk mitigation parameters to help identify gaps, prevent incomplete or inconsistent entries, and improve overall proposal compliance.
Working with the Proposals team and cross-functional stakeholders, you will gain hands-on experience in business process analysis, workflow design, requirements gathering, technology evaluation, documentation, and process improvement. You will have the opportunity to identify opportunities for automation and recommend technology solutions that can improve how proposal teams manage complex RFP and RFX processes.
This is an onsite, 40-hour-per-week summer internship at our Milwaukee facility
