Growth Associate – Industrial Robotics
About Deplace AI
Deplace AI is the deployment layer for Physical AI. We integrate cutting-edge hardware and Physical AI models to automate multiple industrial tasks. We are a VC-funded, well-capitalized startup working at the intersection of Physical AI research and real-world robotics deployment.
Role
We are looking for a Growth Associate to help Deplace find and develop new deployment opportunities, working closely with the CEO and our operational team. You’ll turn commercial priorities into consistent execution: visiting factories and warehouses, reaching out to prospects, following up with customers, and keeping our pipeline moving. This is a hands-on, field-heavy role for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to build commercial experience in an early-stage robotics company.
What you’ll work on
- Visiting factories and warehouses to understand their operations and identify workflows where AI robots could help
- Building and maintaining lead lists across our target industries
- Carrying out direct outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Coordinating outreach campaigns and following up with prospects to secure meetings
- Keeping customer and prospect information, next steps, and pipeline activity organized in our CRM
- Supporting the CEO and sales advisor in preparing for customer visits, calls, proposals, and follow-ups
- Staying in touch with customers after deployment and helping identify opportunities to expand successful deployments
- Supporting partnerships with systems integrators, robot hardware makers, and other relevant organizations
- Representing Deplace at industry, automation, and robotics events
Requirements
- Early experience in sales, business development, customer success, or another customer-facing role
- Experience in B2B sales of industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing, or logistics solutions is a strong plus
- Strong communication and follow-up skills, including comfort with phone and email outreach
- Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple prospects and next steps
- Comfortable visiting factories and warehouses and speaking with plant managers, operators, and other stakeholders
- Willingness to travel, especially across the US and Europe
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing alongside an early-stage startup
- Experience with CRM tools, lead generation, or outbound outreach campaigns
- Full-time availability
Nice to have
- An existing network among systems integrators, robot manufacturers, or industrial operations leaders
- Uunderstanding of industrial or logistics operations, with the ability to discuss workflows, throughput, cycle times, labor costs, quality, and safety with customer teams
- Engineering, business, or another technical background
- Fluency in French or another European language in addition to English
- Experience at an industrial automation or robotics company (ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots, Fanuc, Siemens, Exotec, Locus Robotics, Agility, etc.)
Compensation and benefits
- Competitive base salary with equity participation and sales commission
- Direct collaboration with the founding team from day one
- High-impact role with hands-on involvement in go-to-market, partnerships, and customer relationships
- Opportunity to help shape a company at the core of the Physical AI ecosystem
