TEAMCare is a community-based Agency providing comprehensive Outpatient, Psychological & Psychiatric Services for Adults, Children & Families.  Through our strength-based approach and collaboration with clients, we focus on the resilience and abilities clients already have to develop & implement treatment plans across school, home and community settings. The Family Based Mental Health Therapist will be part of a two-person Treatment Team. You will be trained in, and implement, the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) model to help strengthen relationships in families, improve executive functioning, identify and interrupt negative interaction patterns, and improve stability in the family. The Treatment Team will serve a maximum of eight (8) families and will provide intensive therapeutic services in settings other than the traditional office environment.

What you need to be SUCCESSFUL:

  • Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive changes in someone's life
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications (i.e., Electronic Medical Records)
  • Valid PA driver's license and active auto insurance
  • Act 33 Clearance, Act 34 Clearance, and FBI Clearance or ability to obtain 

 

Qualifications for The Family Based Mental Health Worker:

  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, pre-med, rehabilitation, theology or anthropology or a degree in the field of human services 

Qualifications for The Family Based Mental Health Professional:

  • A graduate degree in psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, education, rehabilitation, or a graduate degree in the field of human services plus 2 years' experience working with children/adolescents
