- Organization & Documentation: Complete accurate documentation and meet required deadlines
- Cultural Responsiveness: Work respectfully and effectively with individuals and families from a variety of backgrounds
Knowledge or experience in child development, trauma-informed care, behavioral support, family engagement, de-escalation, crisis intervention, positive parenting strategies, or community resources is helpful.
Who Qualifies?
Candidates must have already earned a bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or a related Human Services field.
Graduate students who have already earned a qualifying bachelor's degree may be eligible.
Current undergraduate students who have not yet completed their bachelor's degree are not eligible to begin providing TSF services.
Location, Schedule & Flexibility
Opportunities are available throughout Delaware, with services provided in clients' homes and out in the community based on the individual needs and goals of each child and family.
This is a community-based position and is not remote.
This is a part-time, independent-contractor (1099) opportunity that offers flexibility in scheduling. Contractors and families work together to establish service times that meet the needs of the family while also aligning with the contractor's availability.
Because we primarily serve children and youth, many opportunities naturally occur during after-school and early evening hours during the school year. However, every family is different, and available cases may also include daytime, morning, evening, or weekend hours.
Contractors can consider available cases based on their location, schedule, and availability, allowing them to determine which opportunities may be a good fit.
Hours vary based on client needs and successful client matching and are not guaranteed to be full-time.
This flexibility can make TSF a good opportunity for professionals who are:
Building behavioral health experience after graduation
Attending graduate school after already earning a qualifying bachelor's degree
Exploring a future career in counseling, social work, psychology, behavioral health, or human services
Looking to gain relevant professional experience alongside another role or commitment
