Marketing & Content Creation Intern

Marketing & Content Creation InternMoil (moilapp.com)Austin, TX · [Remote / Hybrid / In-office] · [Part-time / Full-time] · [X months]Potential to convert to full-timeAbout Moil

Moil is a venture-backed startup building the AI co-founder for small and mid-sized businesses. We help owners stop guessing: market research, investor-ready plans, smarter hiring, and a full 30-day marketing engine (Moil360) that produces captions, images, and video in English and Spanish.

We're past the "just an idea" stage. The product is live with hundreds of Texas businesses, and we're hiring to grow marketing, content, and the team around it. This internship is a tryout for people we may want to keep.

What you'll do
  • Help plan and produce content for Moil's own channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, email, blog) — hooks, captions, carousels, short video scripts, and bilingual variants.
  • Use and stress-test Moil360: generate calendars, edit AI drafts so they sound like a real owner, and flag what works vs. what feels generic.
  • Turn product features into simple stories: "30 days of content in minutes," hiring in 2 minutes, bilingual posts that don't feel translated.
  • Support campaigns around content consistency, local business growth, and workforce tools.
  • Research competitors, customer language, and what trades / service businesses actually struggle with on social.
  • Assist with light design and video: crop, overlay, thumbnail, short-form cuts.
  • Track what's landing (saves, comments, DMs, signups) and bring ideas to the next sprint.
  • Occasionally help with job posts, landing copy, and founder-facing assets.
What we're looking for
  • Student or recent grad in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field — or a self-taught creator with a portfolio.
  • Strong writing in English. Spanish (written) is a serious plus; we ship bilingual.
  • Comfortable on Instagram, TikTok/Reels, LinkedIn, and short video. You notice hooks, not just "post more."
  • Curious about AI tools without treating them as magic. You edit, you don't just accept the first draft.
  • Organized, fast, and okay with a small, venture-backed team that is still building.
  • You want this to turn into a job, not just a line on a résumé.
  • Bonus: Canva / CapCut / Premiere basics, basic analytics, or you've run content for a club, side hustle, or local business.
What you'll get
  • Real work that ships.
  • A seat at an early, venture-backed company while we scale.
  • Mentorship on content systems, brand voice, and growth for SMBs.
  • [Stipend / hourly rate / academic credit]
  • A clear path to a full-time offer for interns who perform. We are actively hiring and would rather promote someone who already knows the product than start from zero.
How to apply

Send [resume + 3–5 content samples or a short link to your work] and 4–6 sentences on:

  • a business whose content you respect and why, and
  • one Moil feature you'd turn into a week of posts.

[email / form / LinkedIn / moilapp.com/careers]

Moil is bilingual and built for owners who don't have a marketing department. If you like making useful content — and want a shot at staying after the internship — apply.
