Preschool Fitness Coach

FUN BUS DMV is a mobile “gym on wheels” offering fun, play-based fitness classes for children ages 2–7 at local preschools and childcare centers.

We are looking for energetic, dependable coaches who love working with young children and are comfortable leading movement activities, games, obstacle courses, and gross-motor challenges.

Typical shifts:
Morning: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Afternoon: 2:30 PM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

● Lead 30-minute FUN BUS fitness classes

● Keep children engaged, active, and safe

● Set up and reset gym equipment

● Follow FUN BUS lesson plans and safety procedures

● Communicate professionally with school staff

Qualifications:

● Must enjoy working with preschool-aged children

● Energetic, patient, dependable, and outgoing

● Comfortable being active and leading groups

● Must pass a background check

● Reliable transportation required

● Previous childcare, camp, coaching, education, or fitness experience is a plus

Important: All coaches must be willing to train to drive the FUN BUS after successfully completing the coaching training phase. No previous bus-driving experience is required; training will be provided.

This is a great opportunity for students studying Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Kinesiology, Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
