Digital Design Specialist
Four Lane Digital is seeking an exceptional Digital Design Specialist to support web, brand, and marketing projects across a diverse portfolio of businesses and organizations.
We're looking for a designer with a sophisticated visual eye and the ability to turn strategy and creative direction into polished, intentional work.
This isn't simply about knowing how to use design software. We're interested in someone who understands typography, hierarchy, composition, brand consistency, user experience, and the details that separate average work from excellent work.
The Role
You'll collaborate with Four Lane Digital on select client and internal creative assignments spanning web design, digital graphics, branded collateral, campaigns, presentations, and other visual experiences.
Some projects will begin with established brand standards and clear creative direction. Others will require you to interpret an objective and develop the visual approach.
In either case, we're looking for someone capable of thinking beyond the task and understanding the purpose behind the work.
What You'll Do
- Design polished digital and branded creative
- Develop website concepts, page layouts, landing pages, and digital experiences
- Create campaign assets, marketing collateral, presentations, and other visual materials
- Translate creative briefs into thoughtful design solutions
- Work effectively within established brand systems
- Present and communicate design decisions when appropriate
- Incorporate feedback while maintaining attention to detail
- Prepare organized, production-ready files and assets
- Collaborate with our team throughout the creative process
What We're Looking For
We're looking for excellent visual judgment, not simply years of experience.
You take pride in your craft. You notice details others overlook. You can receive direction without needing every decision made for you, and you're comfortable contributing ideas when you believe the work can be stronger.
Candidates with multidisciplinary experience are welcome, but exceptional specialists in web, graphic, or brand design are equally encouraged to apply.
Above all, we're looking for someone who can consistently produce work that meets a high creative standard.
Qualifications
- Strong professional design portfolio
- Excellent typography, hierarchy, layout, and composition skills
- Strong understanding of branding and digital design
- Ability to interpret creative direction and project objectives
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication
- Dependable project and deadline management
- Experience with modern professional design tools
- Website design and/or website-building experience is highly valued
Opportunity Details
This is a remote independent contractor opportunity. Assignments are offered on a project basis, with scope, deliverables, timeline, and compensation established in advance.
Candidates who consistently demonstrate exceptional work, communication, and reliability may be considered for recurring assignments and future monthly contract opportunities.
