HOME STAGING DESIGN ASSISTANT — PART-TIME

Location: Richardson, Texas, with travel throughout North Dallas
Pay: $21–$26 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Flexible weekday daytime hours; hours vary based on project schedules

Do you love decorating and creating beautiful, inviting spaces? Set The Stage North Dallas is looking for a creative, dependable, and hands-on Home Staging Design Assistant to help transform vacant and occupied homes throughout North Dallas.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interior design, visual merchandising, teamwork, and seeing a project come to life. Every day is different—from selecting accessories at our Richardson warehouse and styling homes for photography to carefully packing décor and returning inventory after a destage.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Assist with staging vacant and occupied homes using furniture, artwork, bedding, accessories, and décor.
• Select and arrange pieces to highlight each home’s best features and create warm, inviting spaces.
• Work alongside the Staging Director and design team to bring each project’s vision to life.
• Pull, organize, pack, and return inventory at our Richardson warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading, carrying, placing, and resetting furniture and décor as needed.
• Handle furniture, artwork, accessories, and clients’ homes with care.
• Complete installations and destages efficiently while following project schedules.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
• Respond positively to feedback and adapt as project needs change.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• A strong interest in interior design, decorating, home staging, or visual merchandising. Related experience is helpful but not required.
• A dependable and accountable team member with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and pride in producing quality work.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Comfort performing the essential physical functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. These functions include standing for extended periods, bending, using stairs, and lifting or carrying items weighing up to approximately 40 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to our Richardson warehouse and staging locations throughout North Dallas.
• Flexible weekday daytime availability based on project schedules.
• Professional communication and respect for clients’ homes, teammates, and company property.
