Emergency Department/Emergency Room (ED/ER) Registered Nurse

An ED/ER Registered Nurse provides rapid, compassionate care to patients with urgent, emergent, and life-threatening conditions. The RN assesses patients, prioritizes care, administers treatments, and works closely with physicians and the emergency care team.

What you'll do:

- Perform rapid assessments and triage based on patient condition- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient status- Administer medications, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments- Provide wound care and assist with emergency procedures- Respond to medical emergencies and assist with resuscitation when needed- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, admission, or discharge- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Educate patients and families regarding care and follow-up instructions- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals- Maintain patient safety and follow hospital and emergency care protocols

About you:

- Active RN license required- ED/ER or acute-care experience preferred- Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills- Able to stay calm and effective under pressure- BLS certification required; ACLS and other emergency certifications may be required depending on the facility
