Start Your SLP Career in a Supportive Pediatric Environment
The Inspired Community Project (TICP) is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow to join our interdisciplinary early childhood team in the Bronx.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Speech-Language Pathology graduate who is ready to begin their Clinical Fellowship in a collaborative, hands-on pediatric setting with structured supervision and mentorship.
At TICP, we believe children thrive when their clinical, educational, behavioral, and family-support teams work together. Our Clinical Fellow will provide speech and language services to young children with diverse communication, developmental, and neurodevelopmental needs while working closely with experienced clinicians, educators, and other members of the child's interdisciplinary team.
Why Begin Your Clinical Fellowship at TICP?

Work directly with preschool-aged children with a variety of communication and developmental needs.
Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Special Education Teachers, Behavior Technicians/RBTs, Family Advocacy staff, and other professionals.
Develop experience in treatment planning, clinical documentation, progress monitoring, interdisciplinary collaboration, and family-centered care.
Receive ongoing feedback, professional development, and opportunities for continued growth within TICP.
Maintain a consistent onsite caseload without traveling between community-based cases.
What You'll Do
As a member of our clinical team, you will:
Provide individualized and small-group speech and language therapy in accordance with each child's treatment plan, service mandate, and identified goals.
Support receptive and expressive language, articulation, social-pragmatic communication, functional communication, and other speech-language needs.
Use developmentally appropriate, play-based, child-centered, and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches.
Conduct screenings, observations, assessments, and other appropriate clinical activities under supervision.
Monitor children's progress and collaborate with your supervising SLP to modify therapeutic strategies when appropriate.
Support the generalization of communication skills throughout classroom activities, play, routines, and other naturally occurring environments.
Complete session notes, progress reports, treatment plans, assessments, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions, team meetings, clinical consultations, trainings, and professional development.
Communicate professionally and compassionately with families, staff, supervisors, and other members of each child's team.
Participate fully in required Clinical Fellowship supervision, observation, mentorship, feedback, and documentation.
