Consultant Architect
Frenchman's Creek Beach & Country Club is seeking a qualified Consultant Architect to work closely with our Architectural Review Board (ARB) Committee and Property Owners Association (POA) in the review and evaluation of applications for exterior property improvements.
This consulting role is an important part of maintaining the architectural integrity and high standards of our community. The selected candidate will provide professional architectural expertise and guidance throughout the ARB review process and ensure that all proposed improvements comply with the community's Architectural Review Board Guidelines. Therefore, becoming thoroughly familiar with the current ARB Guidelines will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review ARB applications for exterior modifications, renovations, and improvements.
- Evaluate applications for compliance with the current ARB Guidelines and community standards.
- Provide professional recommendations to the ARB Committee and POA regarding proposed improvements.
- Attend monthly ARB meetings with committee members and applicants to discuss and review submitted applications.
- Conduct site inspections, as requested, to verify compliance with approved plans and ARB requirements.
- Assist with architectural interpretations and recommendations on design-related matters.
- Coordinate primarily through the ARB Coordinator, who will serve as the main point of contact for communication, scheduling, and application processing.
- Participate in meetings both in person and via Zoom, as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and active Florida Architect License.
- Strong knowledge of residential architecture, construction practices, and design standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to attend meetings and conduct site visits as required.
- Experience working with homeowners' associations, architectural review boards, or similar organizations is preferred.
