Entry Level Laboratory Technician
Looking to launch your career in laboratory science? As an Entry Level Laboratory Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting the development, testing, and improvement of mechanical and electrical systems used in laboratories, production, and agricultural environments. You’ll collaborate with engineering, science, and safety teams to drive innovation and validate system performance.
What You’ll Do
- Challenge existing methods and identify opportunities to improve throughput, quality, and integration.
- Support engineering teams in researching and developing innovative solutions.
- Assist with prototypes — from construction to deployment and functional testing.
- Collaborate with Safety to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare samples, collect data, and manage laboratory records.
- Work effectively with multiple supervisors and cross‑functional teams.
- Use standard office productivity software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
What We Need
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of constructing and testing electrical/mechanical systems.
- Strong math, communication, and organizational skills.
- Laboratory experience in sample preparation and data management.
- Familiarity with fabrication, assembly, and use of hand/power tools is a plus.
- Experience with soldering, welding, grinding, drilling, or PCB troubleshooting is a plus.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, programming languages, or machining equipment is a plus.
Education & Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
- Willing to work on‑site full‑time and travel up to 15%.
- Comfortable working in laboratory, production, and agricultural environments.
- PPE required: safety glasses, lab coat, gloves.
