Smoker & Company LLC is seeking Accounting Interns to join our team during tax season. This paid internship offers hands-on exposure to public accounting, tax preparation, and client service while working alongside experienced professionals who are committed to helping you learn and grow.

📋 What You'll Do

• Assist with preparing individual and small business tax returns
• Organize and review client financial documents
• Prepare workpapers and supporting schedules
• Support tax and accounting projects
• Assist with 1099 processing and reporting
• Maintain electronic records and client confidentiality
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines

🎓 Qualifications

Required

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program, or recently graduated
• Available to work at least 20 hours per week during January-April
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn

Preferred

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, or a related field
• Previous internship, office, or customer service experience
• Coursework in accounting, taxation, or finance
