About the Role

Interventional radiology is where imaging meets real-time treatment — and the technologist in this role is at the center of it. You'll operate the equipment, prepare the room and the patient, assist the physician through the procedure, and make sure everything runs safely from start to finish. It's hands-on, technically demanding work that directly affects patient outcomes.

What you'll do

- Operate fluoroscopy, X-ray, and related imaging equipment throughout procedures- Prepare and position patients for interventional cases- Assist physicians with image-guided procedures — biopsies, drain placements, vascular access, angiography, catheter-based interventions, and more- Set up and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and supplies- Assist with contrast media administration per protocols and scope of practice- Monitor patients during procedures and communicate any changes to the team- Follow and enforce radiation safety and protection standards- Keep accurate patient and procedure documentation- Perform pre- and post-procedure equipment checks and maintain an organized procedure room- Follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols throughout- Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and physicians as part of an integrated care team

About you

- Completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program- ARRT certified or eligible (depending on position)- State radiologic technologist license where required- BLS/CPR certified- Experience with fluoroscopy and interventional procedures- Solid working knowledge of sterile technique, radiation safety, anatomy, and medical imaging

Nice to have

- Prior experience in a dedicated interventional radiology suite or cath lab- Familiarity with a range of image-guided procedures across vascular and non-vascular cases
