Physical Therapy Aide

Beaton Orthopedics Physical Therapy Malibu Rehabilitation Center is looking to hire a few Physical Therapy Aides to join our team!

This is a great opportunity for pre-health and pre-PT students to learn additional skills and gain observation hours with experienced and reputable Physical Therapists.

Shifts we are looking to fill:

Monday-Thursdays: 7:45am-1:30pm

Mondays: 1:30pm - 7pm

Possible Saturdays: 9:30am - 2pm

A background in anatomy and former experience as a PT aide is highly preferred but not required.

General Accountabilities:
-maintain a positive attitude at all times with patients and co-workers
-assist physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures
-administers traction to relieve neck and back pain
-administers electronic stimulation and ultrasound
-observes patients during treatments and complies and evaluates data on patient responses to treatments and progress and reports findings to therapists
-confers with members of PT staff and other health team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs
-performs clerical duties such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms
-keeps the office clean at all times
