Team Lead

About Get Air Vermont

Get Air Vermont is looking for motivated, dependable, and confident individuals to join our leadership team as Team Leads.

This is a great opportunity for college students, young professionals, or individuals looking to take the next step into a leadership position while gaining hands-on experience in customer service, team supervision, daily operations, safety, and guest experience.

Our Team Leads work directly with park management to help oversee day-to-day operations, support Team Members, and ensure our guests receive a safe, clean, and enjoyable Get Air experience.

You don't need years of management experience to apply. We're looking for individuals who demonstrate leadership potential, maturity, accountability, strong communication, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

As a Team Lead, you'll help provide leadership throughout the park while remaining actively involved in daily operations.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing direction and support to Team Members throughout their shifts
  • Helping coordinate employee positions, breaks, and daily assignments
  • Leading by example and maintaining a positive, professional work environment
  • Assisting with opening and closing procedures
  • Monitoring trampoline and activity areas for safety and proper rule enforcement
  • Ensuring employees complete assigned cleaning and operational responsibilities
  • Providing excellent customer service and helping resolve guest concerns
  • Assisting with birthday parties, group events, concessions, and front desk operations
  • Supporting cash-handling and point-of-sale procedures
  • Conducting routine park, safety, and cleanliness checks
  • Responding appropriately to incidents and escalating concerns to management when necessary
  • Helping train, coach, and support new Team Members
  • Communicating operational, staffing, maintenance, or guest concerns to management
  • Helping maintain company policies, procedures, and safety expectations
  • Stepping into different areas of the park whenever additional support is needed

Who We're Looking For

Strong Team Lead candidates are:

  • Dependable, responsible, and punctual
  • Confident communicating with both guests and employees
  • Comfortable providing direction to other Team Members
  • Able to remain professional in challenging or fast-paced situations
  • Organized and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Comfortable making basic operational decisions
  • Willing to take initiative rather than waiting to be directed
  • Able to provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Friendly and comfortable interacting with children, families, and groups
  • Focused on maintaining high standards for safety and cleanliness
  • Able to work independently while knowing when to involve management
  • Available to work weekends, particularly Friday through Sunday

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, entertainment, retail, food service, recreation, childcare, or another team-oriented environment is preferred.

Previous leadership experience is helpful, but not necessarily required for candidates who demonstrate strong leadership potential.

Great Opportunity for Students

We strongly encourage college students and students interested in business, management, hospitality, marketing, communications, sports management, recreation, or related fields to apply.

This position provides an opportunity to develop real-world leadership experience while still working a part-time schedule.

Team Leads can develop valuable professional skills in:

  • Leadership and team supervision
  • Employee coaching and training
  • Customer service
  • Conflict resolution
  • Operational decision-making
  • Safety and risk awareness
  • Time management
  • Delegation
  • Communication
  • Event and party operations
  • Cash handling and point-of-sale operations
  • Problem-solving

These are transferable skills that can help build a strong résumé for future internships, management positions, and professional careers.

Leadership at Get Air

Our Team Leads aren't expected to simply "tell people what to do." We want leaders who are willing to work alongside their team.

You'll be expected to set the standard for professionalism, safety, cleanliness, guest service, and teamwork while helping Team Members succeed during their shifts.

For employees interested in continued advancement, strong performance as a Team Lead can also provide valuable preparation for future management opportunities within Get Air.

Schedule

We are currently prioritizing candidates who can provide weekend availability Friday through Sunday.

This is a part-time position that can work well for students and individuals balancing school or other commitments.

Weekend and high-volume shifts are an important part of this position, so reliable weekend availability is strongly preferred.
